Every two months, Deer Friends arrives in your letterbox with a thoughtfully curated collection of stationery, keepsakes, creative activities and seasonal reflections.

What's inside?

Each edition includes:

  • An illustrated greeting card and coordinated envelope (with/without sentiment based on the theme, blank inside) 
  • An illustrated postcard (no sentiment, artwork only)
  • Additional stationery for writing and sending (such as a postcard or letter-writing paper with envelope, or an additional greeting card and envelope)
  • A keepsake or memory marker (such as a quote card, bookmark, sticker or other themed keepsake)
  • Slow-living activities (such as writing prompts, a word search, bingo board or an observation activity etc)
  • A creative activity (no artistic experience required).
  • A letter exploring the theme


A surprise every season

Each Deer Friends edition explores a different seasonal theme. The artwork, colours, activities, keepsakes and contents will vary throughout the year.

The exact contents remain a surprise - part of the joy is discovering what arrives in your letterbox.

Published six times a year

Deer Friends is a bi-monthly snail mail subscription.

Sign up by the 28th of June, August, October, December, February or April to receive the upcoming edition.

Payments are processed every two months on the same date you start your subscription.

Envelopes are posted during the first week of July*, September, November, January, March and May. (*The July 2026  is the first edition and will be sent the second week of July). 

If you subscribe after a sign-up deadline has passed, your subscription will begin with the next available edition.


Please note: Deer Friends should be purchased separately from other products.

 

How often will I receive an envelope?

Deer Friends is published every two months and arrives in your letterbox six times a year.

Current themes are released in: July, September, November, January, March and May.

Deer Friends is published every two months and posted six times per year.

To receive an edition, please sign up by one of the following dates:

• 28 June (posted during the SECOND week of July)

• 28 August (posted during the first week of September)

• 28 October (posted during the first week of November)

• 28 December (posted during the first week of January)

• 28 February (posted during the first week of March)

• 28 April (posted during the first week of May)

Postage Charges

Postage within Switzerland is included in the subscription price.

Returns

Deer Friends may only be returned if the outer envelope remains unopened and in its original condition.

Opened envelopes are not eligible for return, as the contents are surprise items and cannot be resold once inspected.

To protect the envelope in transit, please place it inside another mailing envelope or protective packaging when returning it.

When will I be billed?

Subscriptions are billed every two months on the same date and time that you started your subscription.

Are the contents exclusive to Deer Friends?

Some items are exclusive to the club, while others may become available in my shop at a later date (subject to stock availability).

Themed activity sheets, writing prompts and other paper extras are created exclusively for Deer Friends members.

Subscribers are always the first to receive new themed designs and products.

Will I know the theme before it arrives?

Each Deer Friends envelope is built around a seasonal theme, but the exact contents remain a surprise.

Part of the joy is discovering what arrives in your letterbox.

Are all editions the same?

Each edition follows the same format, but the theme, artwork, activities, keepsakes and stationery change throughout the year.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing date.

Can I send Deer Friends as a gift?

Absolutely. Deer Friends makes a thoughtful gift for stationery lovers, creative friends and anyone who enjoys receiving meaningful post.

What age is Deer Friends suitable for?

Deer Friends is designed primarily for adults, but many activities can also be enjoyed by older children and teenagers.

Can I order other products at the same time?

Please purchase Deer Friends separately from other products.

This helps ensure subscription orders are processed and posted correctly.

What if I subscribe after the sign-up deadline?

If a sign-up deadline has passed, your subscription will begin with the next available edition.

I don't live in Switzerland. Can I still receive Deer Friends?

Yes but....

Unfortunately, I can't currently offer international subscriptions through my website.

If you live in the UK, USA or Canada, you will soon be able to purchase individual editions through my Etsy shop.

Please note:

* International postage is not included in the subscription cost and is charged separately.

* USA and Canada orders are sent with tracked postage.

* At present I cannot ship to Northern Ireland.
