Grüezi Enamel Mug

An white enamel camping mug with the word "Grüezi". This mug is great for taking with you camping or hiking anywhere in the world, but will be especially welcomed in the German speaking part of the Swiss Alps. The mug also makes a great Swiss souvenir, leaving gift, birthday and Christmas gift or just a lovely treat for yourself. The design on the mug is applied by hand meaning each mug is slightly different. Sometimes the image is thicker, sometimes there is a little speck of bonus glaze. There is also a hole on the inner part of the handle, this is part of the mug manufacturing process (a hook is used during the glazing process).

These mugs are a collaboration with another small business "This mug is made of enamelled steel (not ceramic). I use enamel mugs made in Europe. They are 100% food safe, lead-free and Cadmium-free. Black rim is coated with the same enamel as the mug base (not plain metal rim)."

These mugs are created using a high-temperature waterslide decal using special glazes, which is then fired in a kiln to create a long lasting, durable image. The manufacturer also states "I use special glazes, 100% food safe, lead-free and cadmium-free, certificated for dish ware and made in Germany."

Some mugs have a slight blue tint around the handle which occurs during the manufacturing process and doesn't distract from the mug or the design.
