Swiss Cow Souvenir Decoration with/without greeting card

If you have visited Switzerland there’s a good chance you fell in love with the Swiss Cow. The nation of Switzerland and the cow have a historic connection with many seeing the cow as a Swiss national symbol. Swiss cows are found grazing on the Swiss mountains and are a key image in the Alpine landscapes. This particular view is inspired by a waterfall is called the Stäuben Falls near Luzern. This Swiss cow also features a cow bell around its neck which are heard all around the Swiss Alps.

The cute Swiss Cow Souvenir decoration is created from my original illustration and ink painting which is then reproduced with high-quality UV printing techniques onto birch plywood . This ensures that every detail of the artwork is captured with clarity and vibrant colours.

The wooden keepsake has a red ribbon attached to the top which matched the black cow bell strap and makes it perfect to be hung on handles, knobs or even your christmas tree. 

The Swiss cow decorations comes in two options: 

• ‘Without greetings card’ - the ornament will be attached to an A6 backing card which places the cow in a sepia line drawn Swiss Alp landscape illustration with chalets, trees and mountains. The backing card is edged with a traditional stamp style line. Under the cow is the word ‘Switzerland’ in cursive text. 

• ‘With greetings card’ - the cow souvenir will be attached to the front of a 7x5 inch greetings card with a linear texture to it. The image depicted is the same Alpine landscape as described above. The greetings card has the words ‘with love from Switzerland’ in cursive text. When the cow decoration is removed there is a printed image of the cow left on the card leaving it looking complete once it’s removed. 

The keepsake ornament is a lovely thing to encourage reminders of time in Switzerland. The card would make a love Christmas card to send during the festive season from Switzerland to someone who has visited or who you are trying to entice to visit. The decoration can used year after year. 

The reverse of the decoration can be personalised with names or dates.
