Swiss Lake Inspired Bauble Shaped Christmas Tree Decoration

If you’ve ever visited or seen pictures of the Swiss Lakes you will know that they have an almost magic sparkle to their turquoise waters. Swiss lakes are fed by glacial meltwater, which is rich in fine particles of rock flour (glacial silt). When sunlight strikes the water, these particles scatter the light, resulting in a stunning turquoise or aquamarine color. The striking effect is something that is difficult to capture but using resins and glitter these Swiss Lake inspired Christmas tree decorations do an amazing job of depicting these special waters. 

Each lake inspired bauble is unique as the different turquoise resins and glitter pieces settle differently in everyone. The white used to create the wave effect also moves differently on each one. As each bauble has a unique finish when you purchase a bauble you choose your specific one by selecting the numbered choice.  The edge of each seasonal decoration is painted silver and the back is painted in a pale ivory colour.
