Switzerland Gondola Snow Globe Ski Themed Decoration with optional greeting card

This Swiss themed decoration is perfect for the ski lovers in your life. Gliding up the mountains in a gondola will be the memory of many ski resort visitors to the Swiss Alps. The view of the mountains and trees buried in the snow will likely invoke memories of happy adventures and winter wonderlands. This wooden snowglobe decoration is a wonderful gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself to remember your own Switzerland ski holiday. 

This snow globe shaped ornament features a collage of my gondola mountain snow scene illustration with ink artwork that has been printed onto wood and the word ‘Switzerland’ typed in capitals below. The red of the text matches the red of the gondola and the red ribbon also complements this. The blue of the sky is reflected in the windows of the gondola reminding people of days skiing below bright blue skies. 

This Swiss Alp inspired snow globe decoration comes has two option for presentation:

• ‘Without greeting card’ the decoration will come attached to a beautiful A6 backing card which extends the mountain snow scene shown on the decorations and features hand drawn blue snowflakes at the top and the bottom. When the decoration is removed there is an image of the snow globe on the card. 

• ‘With greeting card” option has the snow globe ornament attached to the 7x5 folded card which also extends the mountain snow scene featured on the ornament and as with the backing card, when the ornament is removed the card has an image of the snow globe making it a beautiful seasonal card to display with other Christmas cards. 

The gondola ornament can be hung around the house on a mantle piece or a window to remind someone of their Swiss break or on a Christmas tree where it will become a treasured memory year after year. Maybe you want to tempt someone to come skiing in Switzerland with you or you’re surprising someone with a trip and this decoration could be the perfect reveal. 

For a more personal touch the back of the ornament can have the name of a ski resort and the year added using the same red and font as the Switzerland on the front.
